Course Description:
Procedures for resurveys of public lands, from the Manual of Instructions for the Survey of Public Lands, Bureau of Land Management. Because private lands and surveys adjoin public lands, those surveyors that work within the rectangular system of the PLS will find this course beneficial. Course material includes the nature of resurveys, jurisdiction, limit of authority, rights of claimants, field methods, and the independent resurvey.
